We believe caregivers deserve to be valued, respected, and treated like the professionals they are.

Here at Career Nannies and Household Staffing, we love our caregivers.

That’s why we promise to be your biggest advocate-always striving to match you with only the most amazing families. We want you to be appreciated, know your worth, and love where you work!

Our Caregiver Process

  • We Get To Know You

Once your application has been accepted and we ensure all requirements are met, we continue to learn about your experience, qualifications and needs as a caregiver through an introductory phone call and then an in-depth virtual or in-person interview.

  • We Reference Check

If all goes well during our interview, we contact your references to verify your experience and hear about how awesome you are. We will also run an “online presence” check during this time.

  • We Matchmake

After we chat with your references and verify your experience, we will email you family profiles and positions we believe to be a good match as soon as they come in.

  • We Schedule Interviews

If the families you choose think you’re pretty great too, we will coordinate dates and times for you to meet each other. After all interviews, we check-in with you and the family to gather confidential feedback.

  • We Schedule a Trial Period

If you and a family are interested in moving forward after your interview, we will schedule a trial period so you can get to know the family, learn about their day-to-day life, and see where you’ll be working. This will help you hit the ground running on your first official day, see how you connect with the child(ren)/family and give you the time to ask any questions you might have to ensure its a good fit. Trial periods are compensated by the family at an agreed upon rate and are usually 1-2 days long, working 4 hours minimum per day.

  • We Get You Hired

If both you and the family think you’ve found the one, we present you with their offer and work to negotiate the perfect package for both parties. We will always ensure that industry standards are met, and you are fairly compensated for everything you have to offer! During this time, we will also run your background and motor vehicle check.

  • We Support You

Though our main job is done, we will always be here to support and advocate for you along the way. We love our caregivers and want to make sure you feel happy and valued at all times!
